What is Marketplace Rewards?
Marketplace Rewards is Stampr’s point-based rewards program. It’s a simple way to earn redeemable points for free or discounted products, or for professional services that allow you to grow your business. All just by making smart business decisions.

Earning Points with Marketplace Rewards
Points can be earned in a number of ways, from selling products to filling out surveys to simply opening your Stampr e-commerce shop.
Points are awarded for making moves that help your store become more successful, such as selling products or adding links to your store from social media pages.
While some points are accrued automatically (for instance, you automatically earn 180 points for setting up a verified account), for others you’ll have to submit a request for review.
You also have the opportunity to earn points for tasks that help Stampr improve our own user experience, like writing reviews and filling out surveys.
How many points are earned per action item?
Different action items earn different points.
For instance, filling out a Stampr feedback survey will earn you 30 points, while downloading a Premium Theme will score you 500.
The points per product sold are ever-changing. You’ll notice that some products’ point value may fluctuate based on various circumstances, such a season and stock.
You’ll also notice new action items available to earn points from. We’re adding more and more all the time, so keep an eye out for new opportunities to earn.

Here's an example:
Mary is a coffee savant. To help share her love of the greatest caffeinated beverage ever—and monetize her coffee blog—she signs up with Stampr… earning herself 180 points in the process.
Her specialty is coffee… not web design. But Mary understands that good design is crucial to a successful website, so she purchases a custom theme (500 points) and begins stocking her virtual shelves all things coffee.
Over the next couple days, she fills out a feedback survey (30 points) and refers a friend who’s starting an apparel company (30 points) and her mom, who creates an ecommerce site as eclectic as she is (30 more points)
Thanks to an Instagram post, she’s sold four bags of coffee and one mug, making her enough money for all of next week’s lattes, plus 150 points.
But Mary’s into making a success business, not just making coffee money. She gets 1200 points after using personalized Stampr Professional Services to help market her blog and shop more effectively.
It works. By the end of the following week, she’s sold 30 products through her shop and her blog (900 points), earning her a free product with points left over.
She puts her points towards a pound of premium coffee from a newly registered supplier to review on her blog and add to her shop.
Then she puts her feet up and enjoys a homemade cappuccino—courtesy of her Marketplace Rewards points.
Managing your points
Stampr securely manages each user’s points internally in our CMS. You can see the number of points you have when you log into your dashboard.
If you don’t see points for a recent action show up within seven days, just send an email to help@stam.pr and your customer success manager will get back to you.
Redeeming points for products
Each product on the Stampr Marketplace has a points value. When you’ve earned enough points to redeem the product you want, all you have to do is email the product ID number to your Client Success Manager. We'll then email a confirmation before mailing the product to you.
Why would you redeem points for products?
There are numerous benefits for putting your points towards products. No one is better than the other; it’s all a matter of preference.
Some shop owners like to redeem trending products and flip them on their store for 100% profit.
Bloggers and influencers often create extended reviews of the products they’ve redeemed. Many find this is a great way to sell more products through their blog, store, or social media.
And, hey, if you want to use your points as gift to yourself—go ahead! We can’t think of anyone more worthy.
Redeeming points for professional services
Stampr offers professional services to help you elevate the performance and appearance of your shop. And if Stampr’s functionality doesn’t work the way you’d like for your brand, we can develop seamless, custom integrations to meet your vision.
And Marketplace Rewards can be redeemed to cover some or or all of the costs of these services!

Putting your points towards Stampr’s professional services is great for users who need help executing higher-level tasks, or who simply don’t have the time to do it themselves.

How do you apply points towards services?
Many Stampr shop owners prefer to apply earned points towards professional services that help grow their brand and their bottom line.
To redeem points for professional services, contact a Customer Success Manager with a request for an estimate. Be sure to provide as much detail as possible about the services you’re looking for.

Referring a friend
Referring a friend is one of the quickest and easiest ways to earn Rewards points. It also helps grow and strengthen the Stampr community.
When you refer a friend, they’ll have to provide the email associated with your account in order for points to be earned. They’ll be prompted to do this when creating their account.
Limitations
- Marketplace Rewards points earned from product sales cannot be redeemed for 30 days after the order is placed. This allows us to account for returns or special-order circumstances.
- You only get points for Marketplace Products. Custom Products are not able to be redeemed with Marketplace Rewards points and do not have any point value when sold.
- Marketplace Rewards points have no cash value. Rewards points can only be used to redeem products and services explicitly listed.
FAQ
What is Marketplace Rewards?
Marketplace Rewards is a performance program that lets Stampr shop owners earn points for various actions, such as selling products, and redeem them for free or discounted products. It’s like your bank’s loyalty program or frequent flyer miles… without the fine print and blackout dates.
Do I have to manage or redeem points?
Marketplace Rewards is entirely optional, however, because there are no downsides to earning and using points we recommend you take advantage of it. You do not not need to actively manage the points you earn. The only actions you need to perform are redeeming points and notifying the Stampr Help Desk about special actions requiring manual inspection to receive points.
How long does it take to redeem products?
Products redeemed with Marketplace Rewards points can be shipped immediately if the points needed for the product have been cleared for at least 30 days. Please see Limitations, above, for more details. Standard shipping times apply to all products redeemed.
How long does it take to redeem professional services?
The cost and extent of Stampr Services redeemed with Marketplace Rewards points are dependant on the number of points you apply and the service(s) you request. Email help@stam.pr to discuss the services you’re looking for and how many points you can apply.

This is a great idea and certainly would incentivize store owners to sell more. It might be even better, and less work for the customer success managers if point totals were added to each store's dashboard. That would reduce email load for customer success managers and serve as a constant reminder (nudge to do more) to the shop owners. I love the idea and look forward to earning lots of Rewards!
